Itinerary
Day 1: From Cusco to Rainbow Mountain Vinicunca return to Cusco
We will begin the adventure by picking you up from your accommodation in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:20 a.m. in comfortable transportation that will take you through breathtaking Andean landscapes to the district of Cusipata, where you will enjoy an energizing breakfast around 7:00 a.m. Afterwards, the journey continues to Phulawasipata, the starting point for the hike. The hike to the majestic Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, which begins at 8:45 a.m., is a gentle ascent of approximately two hours, allowing you to appreciate the local flora and fauna along the way.
Once in Vinicunca, you will have time to explore, take spectacular photographs, and listen to your guide’s explanations about this unique geological phenomenon. After marveling at this natural spectacle, you will begin the descent back to Phulawasipata and continue on to Cusipata, where a well-deserved and comforting lunch awaits you. Finally, our transportation will depart back to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable tour with arrival in the city at approximately 6:30 pm.
