Itinerary
Day 1: From Cusco to Humantay Lake return to Cusco
The day begins with pickup in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:20 a.m., starting a road trip to the town of Mollepata, where we will stop to enjoy a nutritious breakfast. From there, we will continue to Soraypampa (3,900 m.a.s.l.), the starting point of the hike to the impressive Humantay Lake. The ascent takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, climbing to 4,200 meters above sea level to reach the turquoise lagoon, allowing plenty of time for contemplation, taking photographs, and appreciating the surrounding glaciers.
After visiting this beautiful Andean landscape, we will begin the descent back to Soraypampa and then continue the journey by vehicle to Mollepata, where a well-deserved and comforting lunch awaits us. Finally, the vehicle will take us back to the city of Cusco, concluding this unforgettable day of adventure with an estimated arrival time of around 6:30 p.m.
