From Cusco Humantay Lake Tour with Late Departure and Packed Lunch

We’ll meet at Plaza Regocijos at 7:30 am to head to Soraypampa, located at 3,900 meters above sea level, crossing impressive Andean valleys and small local communities, while we prepare for the adventure that awaits us. Upon arrival, we’ll start a hike of about 2 hours on trails that combine flat stretches with moderate climbs, surrounded by sacred mountains such as the snow-capped Salkantay and Humantay, where we can observe high Andean fauna in their natural habitat. Upon reaching the spectacular lagoon, located at 4,200 meters above sea level, you’ll be amazed by its turquoise waters. You’ll have free time to rest, take photos, and listen to the guide’s explanation of the history, culture, and geography of this place. If the weather permits, you’ll enjoy the view of the clear snow-capped Humantay, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable memories. To top off the experience, we’ll enjoy a delicious box lunch provided by the agency while we continue to contemplate the majesty of the Andes. Then we’ll head downhill for about an hour and a half to Soraypampa, where our transport back to Cusco awaits us, arriving at Plaza Regocijos between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m., culminating a day full of adventure, nature, and moments that will remain etched in your memory forever.
