Cusco Grand Adventure
Terms and Conditions
The following Terms and Conditions for booking a tour with us contain important information. Please read them carefully, as they represent a binding contract between us, CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE, and you, the customer, for the travel services provided by CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE. This document establishes the basis for a business relationship between you, the customer, and CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE.
Terms of Service
For trips to Machu Picchu, the Electronic Ticket issued only allows entry to the Inca city of Machu Picchu and/or some of its mountains, depending on the type of ticket purchased. It does not include any type of transportation or guide service. The purchase of tours and travel packages includes an itinerary and is subject to inclusions and exclusions in the service. These services are sold in US dollars and are subject to change without prior notice.
Tickets to Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail
Date changes are not possible after a permit has been processed. Permits for Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail are non-transferable and non-refundable. The deposit will be forfeited. Please note that we do this because we are prohibited from reselling your entrance ticket after you have canceled.
Responsibilities
CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE is not responsible for additional costs due to unfavorable weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, accidents, illnesses, injuries, loss of personal belongings, etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to take out travel insurance to cover such events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions listed above.
Please note that no refunds will be given for cancellations or unused services. We will do our utmost to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip, but we will not accept any liability for damage, injury, loss, or expense due to delays, for any reason whatsoever. This applies to any person or property in connection with any service provided by us or our intermediaries, resulting directly or indirectly from acts of nature or force majeure.
Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is considered mandatory and includes coverage, in most circumstances, against loss of deposit or cancellation fees. Please note that no refunds will be made for cancellations or unused services.
Travel insurance is highly recommended, and you should, if possible, purchase this insurance. CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE will take all reasonable care in providing services to our customers to avoid accidents, illness, and loss of personal property, and will only employ properly qualified personnel for our customers.
Physical condition and medical conditions
You must inform CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE of any medical conditions or allergies you may have. You must be in good physical health and, if your health is in doubt, you should consult a doctor. If you are over 70 years of age, you will need to provide us with a medical certificate of good health.
You are responsible for assessing whether a Tour is suitable for you. You should consult your doctor to confirm your fitness to travel and participate in the planned activities. You should consult your doctor about vaccinations and medical precautions. The company does not provide medical advice. It is your responsibility to assess the risks and requirements of each aspect of the trip based on your particular circumstances, limitations, physical condition, and medical requirements.
CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE reserves the right to deny you permission to travel or participate in any aspect of a trip at any time and at your own risk if the company determines that your physical or mental condition prevents you from traveling or poses a danger to yourself or others.
Privacy
CUSCO GRAND ADVENTURE does not share your private information with any government or private agency that is not involved in providing you with the tourist services you have requested.
Payment methods
Our system accepts various credit and debit cards, and the only cards accepted are: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club. Personal checks, telephone orders, wire transfers, and any other payment methods are not accepted.
A 5% card fee will be added to all credit or debit card payments, whether for advance payment (reservation deposit) or the remaining balance of your tours.
Credit card payment systems in Peru are fairly new, expensive, and unreliable. Cash payments must be completed at least two days before the start of your tour. Cash payments are encouraged to maximize our operational capabilities. We understand that you may feel uncomfortable carrying large sums of cash, but in Peru, almost all payments, whether for food, transportation, etc., and labor, are made in cash.
